Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform minor repairs on electrical equipment and machinery and to buildings and facilities including painting, plastering, carpentry, plumbing, electrical power and others technical wise job required.
Coordinate and carry out overall plant maintenance and housekeeping.
  • Check and replace broken electrical switches and make other electrical repairs or any other broken parts.
Keeps fire equipment, alarms, switches, and sensors in good working condition.
  • Keep company plant orderly, clean and safe. Ensure proper care in the use of equipment and supplies.
Assist with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
  • Coordinate and supervise contractor work on maintaining, servicing, housekeeping and constructions work in the premises.
Ensure the company complies with all local authority rules & regulations such as BOMBA, JKKP, MBPP, Tenaga Nasional and Safety and Health (DOSH) Department.
  • Maintain department records, report and file as required.
To ensure all factory machineries and utilities are in optimal conditions at all times and minimize equipment downtime.
  • To examine and test machines, instruments, components, control systems and other electronic equipment to identify faults.
To adjust, repair and replace worn and defective parts and wiring on machines, equipment and instruments.
  • Planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the maintenance department.
To perform and ensure preventive maintenance activities are in accordance with planned schedule.
  • To manage maintenance spare parts and tools inventories.
To achieve assigned maintenance & operation KPIs, and meeting the maintenance budget.
  • To provide work direction to outside contractors and ensure all their activities are conform to the procedures, technical standard, and safety.
Establish a systematic Preventive Maintenance program and procedures for implementation with the ISO requirement.
  • Perform daily checking of facility environment, equipment and on-call duties.
Carry out project as assigned by the company from time to time.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Skills:
Able to do simple electrical work (single phase and three phase).
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical equipment.
Able to perform general facility and utility repairs.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a maintenance or repair role.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
  • Requirements:
Diploma/ Certificate in electrical engineering / mechanical engineering or other related discipline.
  • Be able to write and read in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,
  • 00 - RM3,000.00 per month
