Job Description:
Equipment and Facility Maintenance Engineer, your responsibility is to ensure the reliability and optimal performance for overall maintenance & inspection of the factory building & equipment. This involves developing maintenance strategies, conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting failures, and collaborating with teams to enhance equipment efficiency. Strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of maintenance & facility best practices are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Developing maintenance strategies to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

Conducting routine inspections and diagnostics on machinery and equipment.

• Planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules.

Troubleshooting equipment failures and implementing corrective actions.

• Collaborating with production teams to optimize equipment performance.

Managing spare parts inventory and procurement.

• Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Maintenance of factory building & area

• Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, floor repair, and carpentry ensuring the physical and functionality are decent.

Perform and document administrative systems that are kept up to date at all times, including routine inspection and maintenance activities.

• Minor plumbing and electrical repairs to upkeep the condition of the utilities.

Coordinating with contractors and vendors for repair and maintenance work.

• Performs other duties as needed or requested by management.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.

Prior experience in maintenance and facilities management.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards.

Knowledge of maintenance best practices and techniques.

• Prefer hands-on person can work independently and drive for solution

Required language(s), Bahasa Malaysia, English (is a must) and with ability in Mandarin will be advantages due to job-related sometime need to communicate with China counterpart
