Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Workday Advanced Compensation professional with 3-6 years of experience and this role requires a Workday subject matter expert (SME) specializing in Workday Advanced Compensation. You will act as a key consultant for stakeholders, guiding them on best practices and helping them optimize their use of Workday by gathering and analyzing business requirements. The role involves designing, configuring, testing, and deploying solutions within Workday Advanced Compensation. You will also lead complex projects, manage competing demands from multiple stakeholders, and ensure project scope, quality, and timelines are met. In addition, you will coach team members, ensure quality control, and address issues by identifying the root cause and implementing corrective measures.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the SME for Workday Advanced Compensation
  • Conduct sessions to gather and analyze business requirements and propose solutions
  • Design and deploy business requirements, staying flexible to stakeholder needs
  • Lead and prioritize complex projects for multiple stakeholders
  • Advise on process improvements and system enhancements
  • Manage project scope, quality, and timelines
  • Coach team members and review their work for quality assurance
  • Present lessons learned and best practices to stakeholders
  • Research and solve problems, implementing corrective actions
  • Innovate and suggest new approaches to optimize Workday usage
  • Meet key performance indicators such as utilization targets, service level agreements, and customer satisfaction scores


Skills and Qualifications

  • Workday Advanced Compensation and Reporting configuration experience is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of Workday experience.
  • Led at least two cycles of Advanced Compensation launches.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday HCM and Core Compensation.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, design, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Proficient in Workday custom reporting, analytics, and EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder).
  • Workday security administration knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis capabilities.

This position requires someone who is highly experienced with Workday Advanced Compensation, can lead complex projects independently, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
