Requirements:
Minimum High School education.
Minimum 1 year experience with an established Restaurant or 4/5 stars Hotel.
Proven experience in a similar position within a Chinese kitchen.
Proficiency in cooking techniques, and expertise in using specialized equipment and tools for the Wok or Cutter station.
Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine, ingredients, and cooking methods.
Positive attitude and able to work long hours.
Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations.
Essential Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present a wide variety of Chinese dishes, with a focus on the designated station (Wok or Cutter). Exhibit proficiency in both cooking techniques and knife skills.
Follow standard recipes and ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control. Adapt to special requests and dietary requirements as needed.
Attends daily galley briefings in regard to upcoming events, new menus and food items.
Strictly follows sanitation, hygiene, and food handling standards as per Resorts World Cruises Sanitation and Hygiene Policy.
Ensure that all operating equipment in the work area is in good working condition. Reports to superior
on any problems encountered.
Adheres at all times proper working ethics and methods of food preparation according to Resorts World Cruises Standard.
To perform other responsibilities as assigned by the superior, but not limited to the above.
