Job Role: Windows Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will independently support the global design, implementation, and maintenance of private and public cloud infrastructure. The role involves providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, and best practices for cloud and server environments. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Windows Server Engineering, with strong problem-solving abilities and a track record of contributing significantly to organizational objectives.
Evaluate, maintain, and upgrade operating systems and software to ensure the security of server assets.
- Design, develop, and maintain the physical infrastructure, network, and layout of data centers.
Provide architectural frameworks for servers, hardware, peripherals, and connections.- Implement standards and guidelines to ensure adequate capacity for corporate computing needs.
Offer technical support and provisioning for public and private cloud automation capabilities.
- Perform operating efficiency and stability duties, ensuring the security and integrity of all systems and data.
Respond to outages and provide timely resolutions.- Generate regular status, operational, incident, and change reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.- 4+ years of experience managing and patching server assets and virtual hosting platforms.
Strong experience with Windows Server versions 2012, 2012 R2, 2016, and
- Experience in data center architecture, networking, and security.
Experience with configuration management utilities like SCCM and Ansible.- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.
Experience packaging and deploying software, maintaining compliance with the latest releases.
- Knowledge of domain and intranet management.
Understanding of multiple hardware vendors and technologies.
- Preferred Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in managing and patching server assets and virtual hosting platforms.- Insurance or financial industry knowledge.
2+ years of experience in programming, scripting, and building automation.
- Familiarity with traditional 3-tier web app architecture (web/app/data).
Understanding of Agile concepts and ceremonies.
Strong ability to automate and script maintenance activities.- Strong skills in virtual platform management.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and investigative skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Strong oral and written communication skills.- Ability to work well within a team and liaise with individuals across various disciplines.
Customer relationship management and change management skills.
- General business knowledge and the ability to translate business needs into viable solutions.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
