Main activities/responsibilities: - Carry out fabrication process such as cutting,chinching,spot welding,grinding,tapping,measuring and etc.
Weld mild steel,aluminium,and stainless steel product.- Read drawing details and tack measurement to plan layout and procedures
Coordinate and solve any technical problem
- Set up components for welding according to specification
Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
Handle fabrication machines, such as grinders, drill presses and flame cutters
- Responsible for welding of fabrication parts with efficiency.
maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.- Ensure the working surrounding is kept clean and safe
Coordinate with others to get the project done on time.
- Any other responsibilities assigned by Superior from time
- At least 1 to 2 years of working experience as Welder.
Fresh Diploma or Certificates student in Welding Technology are encourage to apply.
- SPM leavers who are keen for Welding job are welcome to apply as well.
Basic knowledge in MIG & TIG Welding.- Able to asses welded surfaces, structures and components to identify and rectify error
Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures
- Ability to read documents and drawings
