Key Job Responsibilities
- Initiate, work on and fully manage the web developing progress.
- Identifying user and system requirements for new websites and applications.
- Front-end coding included CSS, HTML, jQuery.
- Prioritising software development projects included plugins development, custom code/function, and API or 3rd Party integration job.
- Data / Content population to the webpage if needed.
- Quality check for the web page included both mobile and desktop view, functionality, automation emails, admin panel etc.
- Work closely with other Programmers / Designer for project delivery and completion on deadline.
- Preparing the User Manual documentation if needed.
- Provide training sessions to clients either inhouse or in the client office if needed.
- Handling the development of web pages duly assigned to you.
- To carry out quality checks (debugging and testing) before submitting to clients upon project completion.
- Take responsibility to improve the programming quality in terms of accuracy & speed.
- Take charge of the existing customer on website maintenance, content update, bug checking, and website related issues.
- Domain / Hosting:
- Support on the hosting during the server is downtime.
- Prepare and handle the server / hosting / domain from the company. (Manage, Resources allocation, Domain pointing, Email DNS setting, DNS management).
- Time to time cleaning and planning on resource usage.
- Malware cleaning and backup monitoring.
- WordPress Core / Plugins / Themes upgrade if needed
- Perform tasks within the job scope upon request by management.
- Report to your superior on the project's progress on a daily basis.
- If needed, you shall standby after working hours or weekends if there is any serious case or urgency of website launching or website downtime. It is not limited to any urgent project if it needs to be completed over the weekend. Support is through remote.
- Two (2) full time positions available.
Job Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Candidates must have a thorough knowledge in HTML5, CSS3, PHP, MYSQL, Javascript, jQuery and Wordpress.
- Required language(s): English, Chinese, Malay.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously & to perform various tasks in succession.
- Candidates with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in web development are preferred.
- Able to work remotely with stable / fast internet connection and a quiet environment.
