Web Designer Intern

About This Role:

We are looking for a motivated Web Design Intern to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with our marketing team to contribute to various web and mobile application projects. You will assist in creating and modifying user interfaces, optimizing digital multimedia content, developing and maintaining Content Management Systems-driven (CMS) responsive websites and applications, and supporting end-user systems.

This is a 3-month assignment.

• Responsibilities:

Participate in requirements gathering for web and mobile application projects.

• Create, modify, and optimize user interfaces for websites and applications.

Create, modify, and optimize digital multimedia content (e.g., images, videos) for web and mobile platforms.

• Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating CMS-driven interactive web pages and applications.

Assist in managing and updating CMS websites and/or social media channels as needed.

• Assist in deployment of web applications to various platforms.

Assist in providing support for end-user computer systems and devices.

• Assist in maintaining and updating documentation related to projects and processes.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Requirements:

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and multimedia editing software.

• Knowledge of CMS and experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or similar.

Understanding of responsive design principles and best practices.

• A portfolio showcasing previous web design and multimedia content work (if applicable).

You will be great at this role if you have:

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.

• Ability to meet deadlines.

Possess strong work ethics.

Pay: RM
