As a Warehouse Supervisor in our manufacturing facility, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operation of the warehouse and ensuring the timely and accurate handling of materials. You will lead a team of warehouse associates, implement best practices, and maintain a safe and organized working environment. This position is responsible to ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction. The primary goal : by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals of the entire warehouse.
- Main Duties & Key Responsibilities :-
- Record Keeping and Documentation:
- Maintain an up-to-date and accurate record of all raw materials in the inventory management system.
- Monitor raw material stock levels and collaborate with procurement to anticipate and address potential shortages or overages.
- Verifying the currency and adequacy of raw materials to support production needs.
- Collaborate with production, and Finance teams to ensure seamless coordination of raw material activities.
- Ensure all physical and system records, including inventory levels, transactions, and order fulfilment, are meticulously maintained and up-to-date.
- Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical stock with system records, promptly addressing any discrepancies.
- To set up and maintain an accurate stock record system ensure accurate an on time record of stock in and stock out all transactions must be recorded on the same day.
- Weekly and monthly stock check to ensure physical stock count tally with book records.
- To make sure all finished goods stock are arranged properly in their location.
- To make sure warehouse employee take out and put back the stock into their original place.
- Overseeing the proper execution of reworking processes for products, ensuring adherence to established standards.
- To check & verify for any visible damage, discrepancies in labelling, or packaging issues BEFORE
packing and loading process or own collection process.
- To check & verify the quantity of received items against shipping documents, purchase orders, and invoices.
- To check & verify the quantity of outgoing items with the Warehouse Supervisor & communicates to resolve any issues.
- To perform quality check on incoming quality and quantity of stock received (both internal and external)
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming stock to ensure conformity with specified quality standards.
- 3. Equipment & Workspace Organization
- Ensure that all equipment and tools are returned to their designated places after use, maintaining an organized and efficient workspace.
- Conduct regular inspections to verify the condition and completeness of tools and equipment in their assigned locations.
- Oversee the maintenance and proper utilization of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of storage areas, and arranging items in a systematic manner.
- 4. Housekeeping & Tidiness
- To take charge of Housekeeping activities on Warehouse workspace & main entrance lobby cleaning.
- Ensuring effective waste management practices are implemented and maintained throughout the facility.
- Promote a culture of cleanliness and order in the warehouse by implementing and enforcing tidy work practices.
- To arrange rubbish cleaning & throw.
- Collaborate with team members to address any clutter, spills, or safety hazards promptly.
- 5. Stock Checking & Stock Related.
- Conducting thorough stock checks and tallies to ensure accurate inventory levels across all products and categories.
- Utilizing various inventory management systems and tools to record and track stock movements, adjustments, and discrepancies.
- Collaborating with warehouse personnel and departmental stakeholders to verify stock quantities and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Generating detailed reports and documentation of stock counts, discrepancies, and adjustments for review and analysis.
- Implementing corrective actions and process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of stock checking and tallying procedures.
- To assist Warehouse Supervisor on outstanding OR urgent task
- Review and prepare workflows, warehouse layouts, space allocations, staffing requirements and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality and customer service.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
- Assign work task to local driver if to assist warehouse if there is no local delivery.
MUST
be able to drive forklift efficientlyMUST
have at least 3 years
experiences in managing warehouse.MUST be able to work under pressure.
- MUST be able to work long hours when necessary.
Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.- Must be computer literate
Minimum possess SPM / STPM / Diploma.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
