Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency to ensure orders delivered to the right place, with the right product, at the right time, in the right condition, in the right package, in the right quantity, with the right documentation, to the right customer, with the correct invoice.
Resolve problems concerning warehouse, transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
- Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements
Comply with customer requirement, laws, regulations and OHS&E requirements- Working proactively with various departments to realize efficiencies and manage expectations
Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
Prepare annual budget- Negotiate warehouse and transportation rates or services.
Plan work rotations, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
- Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)- Stock management to ensure physical and ERP stock are accurately.
More than 5 years of proven working experience as Warehouse and logistics manager- Proficient in standard warehouse and logistics software
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
Tertiary qualifications in Logistics or Supply Chain- Excellent communication skills to manage the internal and external stakeholder expectations
Good personal presentation
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives- Strong knowledge of logistic and warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Leadership skills and ability manage staff
* Good knowledge in LMW and global logistic requirement
