Responsibilities:
Assist in the overall management of day-to-day warehouse operations, including
receiving, storage, and shipping of chemical products.
Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and safe startup process.
Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety,
responsibility, and continuous improvement.
Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of warehouse personnel.
Effectively communicate organizational goals and objectives to the team.
Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards related to chemical warehousing.
Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance
and resolve any compliance issues promptly.
Implement and monitor systems / SOP for the proper handling and storage of chemical
products.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Logistics, Supply Chain Management).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical warehousing or a related industry.
Ability to patiently navigate challenges associated with a pioneer role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with regulatory authorities.
