Warehouse Driver

Responsibilities:

• Apply security measures and driving techniques when operating warehouse vehicles, such as delivery vans and lorries, to move cargo into and out of the warehouse.

Use the proper equipment to pack and unload cargo onto and from lorries or vans while according to handling guidelines and safety precautions.

• Correctly inspecting, marking, and arranging incoming and outgoing products will help with managing inventory.

Effectively plan transportation routes to guarantee precise and on-time delivery of items to specified destinations while adhering to delivery schedules.

• Inspect cars regularly for maintenance issues, report any mechanical problems, and make sure theyre in good operating order.

To maintain a secure working atmosphere, and comply by corporate policies, traffic laws, and safety requirements when driving and handling cargo.

• Keep correct delivery, receipt, and vehicle reports; additionally, fulfil any paperwork requirements or transportation-related documentation.

Work together with store managers, warehouse personnel, and other stakeholders to guarantee the effective handling and delivery of items.

• Help with additional warehouse tasks as needed, like order picking and packing, inventory organization, and inventory count help.

• Qualifications:

SPM, STPM, diploma, degree, or equivalent in any subject.

• A minimum of one year of experience driving a van.

Need to have a current GDL.

• A clean driving record free of infractions.

Proper scheduling and the capacity to set priorities for tasks.

• Being aware of the safety protocols for handling items during loading and unloading
