We are looking for a responsible and experienced Warehouse Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of the work and maximizing the productivity of our warehouse.
Warehouse Assistant job description should contain the following duties and responsibilities:
- Supervised receiving, storing, issuing and shipping of inbound and outbound items
Assisted in organising products in the warehouse.- Filled orders according to specified picking list.
Checked picked orders, selected proper box size, packed, and prepared for shipping
- Picked and packed product for domestic and international shipping
Collected and prepared items for shipping via 3PL.- Ensured proper packing and handling of outgoing products.
Performed quality control to ensure shipment of fresh, quality products
- Constantly provide and maintain a clean and safe work environment with proper housekeeping standards.
Communicate and collaborate with other team members- Train, guide and evaluate new warehouse workers.
Track inventory levels, maintain inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.
- Ensure enough packing materials to minimise and notify when require replenishment.
Determine and track the most important warehouse KPIs- Make suggestions for productivity improvements
Optimize warehouse and order processing workflow
- Assist in any other task as and when assigned
Job Requirement:
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia- At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
Ability to manage inventory- Able to work in a fast pace environment
