Key Responsibilities:
System Content
Lead and drive the execution of new payment capabilities for Group SME & Commercial Banking. Development can be in-house or working closely with external party.
Research emerging technologies to decide if installing them can increase the organization's efficiency and effectiveness
Prepare an analysis of costs and benefits so that management can decide if information systems and computing infrastructure upgrades are financially worthwhile
Devise ways to add new functionality to existing systems
Analyse business processes and write system process specifications to be used
Oversee the installation, configuration and deployment of new systems to customize them for the business
Conduct testing to ensure that the systems work as expected
Analyse data contained in the bank's database and identify data integrity issues with existing and proposed system and implement solutions.
Verify database and data integrity.
Serve as a liaison and facilitator between Group SME and Commercial Banking and both internal and external parties (such as Bank's regulatory reporting team, BNM's, etc) to assist in addressing and resolving both system handling logics and parameters.
Train the system's end users and write instruction manuals
Synthesize and analyse information from various sources to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps.

Good advocate for innovation thinking & culture, to drive the Bank's innovation agenda, to enhance customer experience and better engage customers in the digital space.
Contribute to a culture of innovation, proactively seeking ways to enhance the capability and performance efficiency, efficacy and success of GSME innovation efforts, by working effectively with relevant internal and external stakeholders to leverage their innovation investments.

Strong proficiency on Microsoft Excel. Ability to write SQL, JAVA, Python and R would be a plus.

Education / Knowledge
Degree in Business Management, Project Management, Computer Science, System Analysis or equivalent.
Good business knowledge, understanding of a variety of business practices and familiarity with the banking industry.
Intermediary understanding of the evolving digital world on both the demand side (how people / organizations are using technology) and the supply side (emerging technologies).
Familiar with a variety of innovative project concepts, practices and procedures.
Mastery in bank's internal processes / systems
Mastery in both internal and external policies related to business processes / systems (includes regulatory policies such as BNM)
Experience
Minimal 10 years of experience in innovating business models and developing new channels, business models or business transformation.
Proven track record of improving user journeys, bringing in new revenue streams, maximizing efficiency and developing new products and services.
Experience in managing and leading project (as project manager) for project total cost more than one million ringgit
