- Job Summary: As a VMware Systems Engineer at Ssquad Global, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing VMware-based virtual environments. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure high availability, performance, and security of our virtualization infrastructure. Your expertise in VMware products will be crucial in optimizing system performance and supporting our organization's growth.
VMware Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain VMware ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and related components. Ensure high availability and performance of virtualized environments.
- System Optimization: Monitor and optimize VMware environments for performance, capacity, and reliability. Implement best practices for resource allocation and utilization.
Troubleshooting & Support:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for VMware-related issues. Resolve incidents and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.Configuration & Deployment:
Configure and deploy virtual machines, clusters, and storage solutions. Manage VMware vSAN, DRS, HA, and other advanced features.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Ensure accurate records of system changes and updates.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security measures to protect virtualized environments. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration:
Work with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and initiatives. Provide expertise and guidance on VMware best practices and technologies.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with VMware products, including VMware ESXi, vCenter Server, and VMware vSAN.Certifications:
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or higher preferred. Additional certifications in related technologies (e.g., VCAP, VCDX) are a plus.Technical Skills: Proficiency in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter Server, and VMware vSAN. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is beneficial.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of virtualization concepts, storage solutions, and network integration within a VMware environment.

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.Communication:
