Responsible for translating creative briefs/directions into visually appealing store experiences that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives. You will lead on the day-to-day management of creative visual merchandising strategy assisting the Creative Brand Producer in bringing creative concepts to life.
- Brand Image Management & Execution: Interpret creative briefs and concepts into visually stunning store displays that reflect the brand's image and meet brand objectives. Lead the creative vision from concept to completion, maintain aesthetic of the store, upholding the brand's visual identity across all touchpoints aligning with brand guidelines.
- Creative Ideation: Lead brainstorming sessions to develop innovative store visuals and concepts. Work with creative teams to translate market insights and consumer behaviour into impactful visual merchandising that captivates customers and drives sales.
- Store Brand Development: Craft and articulate the brand's narrative by designing and implementing a cohesive visual merchandising strategy that elevates the in-store experience, window displays, interior fixtures, event environments and special projects.
- Store Experience & Best Practices: Develop comprehensive visual merchandising guidelines, ensuring uniformity across stores and retail partners. Liaise closely with merchandising team to ensure correct product is launched and promoted based on marketing/merchandising calendar. Interact with store managers /designated in-store VM to maintain retail standards with maximization of sales in mind.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the merchandising/ops team to ensure the right product assortment is featured in accordance with marketing calendars. Work closely with operations on store planogram development and product placement.
- Set Design, Production & Budget Oversight: Responsible for set design for photoshoots and adhere to the timeline and budget for each project. Manage VM budgets and ensure efficient of VM props and materials can be stored or recycled to keep it environmentally friendly while maintaining quality standards.
- Global Alignment: Ensure all regional visual merchandising initiatives are in sync with global brand objectives, maintaining a consistent brand image across all locations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5 years) in window display, visual merchandising, art direction and production management.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative and strategic projects.
- Proficiency in design software and tools.
- Proficient in conceptualizing, visualizing, and deliver design solutions to create the end-results, giving clear direction on window design, window display, window styling, visual merchandising & on-set photography set up.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with effective time management.
- Creative thinking and innovative mindset to develop impactful VM strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a cross-functional team environment.
- Keep up to date industry trends, market changes, best practices, tools and consumer preferences to identify new opportunities for brand image growth.
