VIRTUALIZATION ENGINEERING1) To provide support for virtualization platform and servers (Hardware and Software), Physical and virtual appliance. (_
Cisco UCS, HFX, Nutanix, Zerto, NSX, Vcenter, AHV, AWS, Azure HCI, Vrops, Vrealize log insight_)
2) Evaluate, design, configure, install, and maintain Virtualization Platform resilience and recover solution.
3) Evaluate and recommend new hardware and software products.
4) Review, maintain and monitor system reliability and performance, plan and control consolidation ratio to optimum level, avoiding overcommit and performance problem.
5) Maintain detail inventory of virtualization farm (Hardware, Licenses, FI, blueprint)
6) Install and configure new server hardware and hypervisor.
7) Review hardware selection and configuration proposal.
8) Review and enforce security and server policy.
9) Involve in Problem log, RCA, Problem Management log.
10) Work with vendors and partners to insure hardware and software are delivered / configured according to specification.
11) Ensuring Servers are available and with good performance, always to ensure business are able to operate.
12) Plan execute capacity upgrade.
13) Plan and execute hardware and Hypervisor Upgrades.
14) Ensure operational documentations are maintained and updated
15) To provide high level support to ICS team on both Infra and windows platform.
16) To Prepare paper for infra refresh/maintenance.
17) Involve in Tier 1/2/3 call.
18) Involve in DR activity (planning and execution).
