RAS is looking for a highly proficient, organized and creative Videographer to work with our communications team to assist in planning, creating storyboards, filming and editing video content. The Videographer's responsibilities include ensuring that the necessary filming equipment is available for use, maintenance of equipment, directing other camera operators on set as well as editing film footage.
A successful candidate, should stay up to date with industry trends and tools that will make projects more marketable and highly professional.
- Execellent computer literacy
Proficiency with editing software such as Photoshop and other video editing suites
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Relative fitness and stamina for sports-related filming- Proficiency with camera equipment
- Film videos on set or on location
Ensure that equipment for a shoot is present and working- Plan the shoot with the Communications team
Edit footage in post-production
- Direct other camera operators so that the needed footage is acquired
