Role Overview:
The Videographer will be responsible for conceptualizing, shooting, and editing video
content that highlights the universitys programs, events, and initiatives. This role requires a
creative storyteller with technical expertise in videography, video editing, and postproduction.
The Videographer will collaborate with various departments to produce
compelling video content that aligns with the universitys brand and messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for various platforms, including the
universitys website, social media, and promotional materials.
Work closely with the marketing, communications, and events teams to create videos that
align with the universitys goals and strategies.
Capture footage of university events, academic programs, and campus life to produce
engaging content.
Edit videos to ensure a polished final product, including color correction, sound design, and
special effects as needed.
Manage video projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and content
is delivered to the highest standards.
Maintain and manage video equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve video
production quality.
Collaborate with other creative team members to produce multimedia content that
enhances the universitys digital presence.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Communications, or related field.
Proven experience as a Videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing video projects.
Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
tools.
Strong understanding of videography techniques, lighting, audio recording, and postproduction
processes.
Creative mindset with the ability to tell compelling visual stories.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality work
