Your role is to edit, animate, post-produce videos and photos for the needs of the whole Group, by utilising your creativity and resources available. You are required to work together with the video team in handling assignments requiring motion graphics; visual, audio, and graphic effects. Coordinating with subjects and finding an optimal solution to challenging situations is encouraged.
You shall edit, animate, and post-produce video and photo content for UCSI Groups productions and its subsidiary companies, including the university.
- You shall coordinate with the video team on meeting production demands and requests for the GCA team to produce photos/videos, and presentations for stakeholders concerned, and be accountable for the output.
You are required to maintain a flexible work schedule in order to accommodate evening and weekend shifts and travel to on-site locations as and when necessary where planned productions are involved.- You shall work together with other members of the video team.
You shall edit and assemble final visual/audio program material, create motion graphics; visual, audio, and graphic effects; ensure consistency and relevancy to production; monitor technical quality of end product.
- You shall collaborate with the GCA team regarding preconceived ideas and physical realities of the production setting and participate in programme's visual development in conjunction with project owners.
You shall mount the finished/edited product onto the Group or subsidiary companies online media archive and/or broadcast channels.- You should be able to use camera equipment; make technical and creative suggestions regarding elements such as appropriate lighting, shooting angle, placement and type of microphone audio needs, locations, use of movement and interviews.
You shall oversee the security, operation and maintenance of equipment utilized in shooting and editing.
- You shall, from time to time be given additional duties and responsibilities by the Head of Videography Team and/or Vice President, Group Corporate Affairs.
Diploma or professional qualification.
- Strong portfolio in motion graphics/editing for video and photo production.
Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Being proficient in Adobe Audition and audio processing is an added advantage.- Excellent communication skills.
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as participate within the team.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, possess a mature attitude and a good team player.
Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and abilities.
