Video Editor

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team at Kwentista - a group of storytellers!

• Responsibilities:

Edit videos to include compelling content, transitions, graphics, and effects.

• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of video content.

Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video.

• Input music, dialogue, graphics, and effects as required.

Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop new video ideas.

• Ensure all editing work aligns with the companys brand and style guidelines.

Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.

• Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.

• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).

Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.

• Thorough knowledge of timing, pacing, and storytelling techniques.

Creative mind and storytelling skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

• Excellent communication skills.
