We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a strong eye for detail, working to produce high-quality video content that aligns with our brands vision. You will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that is suitable for broadcasting, marketing, or online distribution.
Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, compelling video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, presentations, and advertisements.
- Post-Production: Perform post-production tasks, including color correction, audio mixing, adding visual effects, and incorporating graphics and animations.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the creative team, including directors, producers, and other stakeholders, to ensure the final product meets the project goals and deadlines.Content Management:
Organize and manage video files and assets, ensuring they are properly archived and easily accessible for future use.Quality Control: Review and proof all video content to ensure it meets quality standards and aligns with the brands style and messaging.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest editing software, techniques, and industry trends to continuously improve the quality of video content.
Education: Bachelors degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field. (Equivalent work experience may be considered.)
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a professional environment.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and other relevant tools.Creative Skills:
Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and timing. Ability to bring creative ideas to life through video.Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of editing and post-production.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
Time Management:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with motion graphics and animation.- Knowledge of sound design and audio editing.
Familiarity with color grading software.
- Understanding of social media video formats and requirements.
