We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales to lead our global sales strategy and drive revenue growth.

Position Overview: The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share globally. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership within the oil and gas industry. The VP of Sales will lead a high-performing sales team, foster strong customer relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement a global sales strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Identify new market segments and growth opportunities to expand the company's customer base and revenue streams.
  1. Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations to ensure team success.
  1. Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction, addressing customer needs and resolving issues promptly.
  1. Sales Operations and Performance Management:
  • Oversee sales operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  1. Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Use insights to inform sales strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
  1. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment:
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Drive cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance overall business performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales leadership experience in the oil and gas industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on coaching and development.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in sales analytics tools and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel globally as required.
