CraveFX (https://cravefx.com/) is a Singaporean company that specializes in animation, motion graphics, and visual effects. We have been in operation since 2013 and have a team based in Q Sentral, Kuala Lumpur, under the company Big Corridor (https://www.corridor.my/).
As a VFX Artist, you will play a pivotal role in our creative team, contributing to various aspects of the visual effects production pipeline. From production to post-production, you'll be involved in crafting stunning visual effects that enhance our projects.
This role is required to work closely with:
Producers Project Lead & Team Members
Visual Effects Creation- Develop and execute high-quality visual effects, including simulations, particle effects, and dynamic elements, ensuring seamless integration into the final output.
Manage small-scale projects independently, with producer support, to deliver final visual effect shots meeting company and client standards.- Expected tasks include but are not limited to:
Masking/Cleanup
- Matchmoving/Post-motion capturing
Compositing and color grading Basic 3D lighting rendering (correlation to Matchmoving)
Collaborate closely with various departments and team leaders to achieve the desired visual effects, handling the complexity of composite shots within deadlines.- Come up with creative solutions to meet project requirements and enhance visual storytelling.
- Qualifications & Skillset
Proficiency in compositing software such as After Effects, Nuke, or Fusion.- Experience with tasks like match moving, rotoscoping, grading, and compositing.
Basic understanding and operation of 3D software such as Maya, Blender, or C4D.
- Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and adopt more efficient workflows.
Ability to operate simulation software such as Houdini and having experience with motion capture is optional but a significant advantage.
You should have a strong artistic and aesthetic sense, with an eye for detail and a passion for creating visually compelling content.- Proven experience in the visual effects pipeline from production to post-production.
Strong understanding of compositing principles and techniques.
- Ability to manage projects independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Manage your time efficiently to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.- Continuously seek opportunities for skill improvement and stay updated with the latest techniques and technologies.
Be adaptable and open to learning new software and techniques as the industry evolves.
