As a Vendor Key Account Manager, your objectives are:
- Growth of vendor accounts
Maintaining good working relationships with vendor accounts, ensuring they operate in accordance with our terms of service
- Train and ensure vendors are adhering to SmartBite product processes after initial onboarding and handover from the Business development team
Build and maintain strong and positive relationships with Vendor partners through consistent check-ins and effective communication- Support closing of transactions for high-value deals
Ensure the vendor works within our Terms of Service to deliver high levels of service to the Client
- Resolve issues where vendor expectations are not met, and clearly communicate to prevent a repeat incident
The setting, communicating, and maintaining timelines and priorities on tasks agreed on- Develop and maintain account management materials for relevance and keep up-to-date with SmartBite product developments
Respond to market needs (e.g., cuisines, certifications), and maintain competitive Vendor offerings (in food offered and pricing) to ensure supply on the platform (Vendors) meets the demand of Clients
- Identify areas for product and process improvement where Vendor user experience is impacted and communicate with the team
Reporting on client performance and ensuring variation of vendor usage- Ensure fair distribution of orders across the portfolio of vendors to encourage competition and growth of the company
Negotiate and improve commercial terms for the company
- Report periodic results to the Country's lead
- Education: Completion of at least two (2) years in college. No specific degree requirements
- Experience: Level-dependent. Relevant work experience in Sales with a history of exceeding targets is valued
- Skills: Excellent people relation skills; highly organized and keen to details; Possesses logical thinking with strong analytical skills; Effective communication skills; Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team; Has the initiative to improve and develop oneself.
