Digital Product Designer
This role reports into one of the Design Managers and will work closely with the various product designers within the team, Digital lead, Project Management and various POs to drive User Experience into the heart of StarHubs digital channels. The scope covers (but may not be limited to) StarHub.com, the StarHub Online Store and MyStarHub app.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver high quality creative designs across diverse products and devices
- Design UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, banners, CTAs, page designs, and page flows to create effective, tailored experiences for the digital user.
- Participate (and potentially lead) cross-team conceptual development, partnering with other designers, PMs, engineers, and business teams
- Develop wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively conceptualize and communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors
- Analyzes and evaluates current user interfaces and proposes usability improvements (i.e. expert reviews).
- Maintains and enforces UX style guides, UI standards, and interaction design pattern libraries.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- A portfolio showing past work is a must.
- 2+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, product design or similar UX-related role
- High working proficiency in prototyping tools (Figma or similar)
- Strong practical knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, usability principles, web based information architecture and design
- Ability to work independently, gracefully and have a bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
- Natural curiosity and find inspiration beyond the screen; through the people you talk to, analogous experiences, and beyond
- Fluency in best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as strong knowledge of user experience principles and techniques
- Proven ability to produce high quality user experience deliverables: storyboards, user scenarios/tasks, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, etc.
- Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
- Experience working with web or app development technologies is a strong plus (HTML, CSS, JS, iOS, Android)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
