DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly experienced Unix Technical Support Analyst to join our team in Southeast Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible in performing installation, implementation, maintenance of new and existing hardware, software and operating systems including updates, configuration changes and patches.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure high level of systems availability by performing regular health-checks and configurations fine-tuning
Troubleshoot and resolve systems related issues
Perform Unix scripting / Visual Basic programming
Document systems procedures and guidelines
Research and recommend new technologies to improve workflow efficiency
REQUIREMENTS:
A recognized Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science
Minimum 6 years experience in Unix/Linux/Solaris/AIX/CentOS operating system administration
Strong working experience in IBM WebSphere Application Server, Oracle Weblogic and Oracle Database Server
Good knowledge in fine tuning, high availability systems and systems security
Strong ability to utilize Unix shell programming methods
