Role Description
This is a contract hybrid role for a UIUX Designer at FarmByte in WP. Kuala Lumpur, with flexibility for remote work. The UIUX Designer will be responsible for implementing design thinking, conducting user research, visual design, user experience (UX) design, and prototyping to enhance user interactions and experiences.
Key Accountabilities
- To conduct user research to understand user needs, pain points, and behavior. Use this information to inform design decisions.
- To Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize and communicate design concepts. Iterate based on feedback.
- To Design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications. Ensure consistency in design elements and branding.
- Conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and make data-driven design improvements.
- To Define and design interactive elements, animations, and micro-interactions to enhance the user experience.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as graphic design, interaction design, psychology, computer science, or a related field. (A master's degree is a plus)
- Experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
Knowledge and Skill
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Experience with accessibility and designing for diverse user groups is a plus
