About You
You are a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer with a passion for creating intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces. Over the past several years, you have developed a strong portfolio showcasing your design work, and you have honed your skills in user research, creating personas, information architecture, user flows, wireframing, user journey mapping, and prototyping. You are proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe XD, and you have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and have excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate design decisions and incorporate feedback effectively.
What You'll Do
As a UX/UI Designer at Rotate, you will be responsible for designing exceptional user experiences for our business intelligence applications. Your responsibilities will include:
UI Design: Create consistent and appealing user interfaces for our web applications, developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. Ensures consistency and adherence to design standards and guidelines across all products.
Creating User Flow, Wireframing, and User Journey Mapping: Design user flows, wireframes, and journey maps to visualize the layout, structure, and complete experience of the product.
Determine Information Architecture: Organize and structure information effectively to ensure users can easily navigate and find the information they need. Develop site maps, navigation models, and hierarchies to define the structure of the product.
Creating Personas: Develop detailed user personas based on research data to guide design decisions and ensure the product meets user needs.
User Research: Conduct and analyze user research to understand needs and behaviors through various methods such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, data scientists, and strategy consultants, to ensure cohesive and well-integrated product designs. Participate in product planning and brainstorming sessions to provide design insights and recommendation, and works closely with the development team to ensure the implementation of designs aligns with intended user experience
What You'll Need
Bachelors degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
3-6 years experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably with experience in designing applications for the business intelligence or aviation industry.
Strong portfolio showcasing your design work and demonstrating your ability to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and incorporate feedback effectively.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in facilitating design thinking workshops is advantageous but not required.
Understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

Where is the position located
This role is based in our newly established office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Our Malaysia office specializes in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, and Data Analysis. You will collaborate with talented tech colleagues.
