Job Description

Job Summary:

The Treasury is responsible for managing a variety of treasury and tax activities to ensure the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization. This role involves daily cash forecasting, bank reconciliation, managing bank accounts, setting up and maintaining bank mandate authorities, and providing instructions to banks for the utilization of financial facilities and foreign exchange (FX) deals. Additionally, the specialist will process payments on bank portals, operationalize treasury-related controls, book related journal entries, and provide treasury advice on transactions and operations.
  • Key Responsibilities:
Daily Cash Forecasting and Bank Reconciliation: Ensure adequate liquidity and verify the accuracy of financial records.
  • Bank Account Management: Open, maintain, and close bank accounts as necessary.
Bank Mandate Authorities: Set up and maintain proper authorization for transactions.
  • Bank Instructions: Provide instructions to banks for the utilization of financial facilities and FX deals, including confirmation and settlement.
Payment Processing: Execute payments through bank portals efficiently and accurately.
  • Treasury Controls: Operationalize treasury-related controls to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.
Journal Entries: Book related journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Treasury Advice: Offer advice on various transactions and operations to support decision-making processes.
  • Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in treasury and banking operations.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Proficiency in using banking portals and financial software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred Skills:
Experience with foreign exchange (FX) transactions.
  • Knowledge of treasury management systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

  • Based Salary:
Based on experience (1year 7 years experience)
  • RM3,800 RM 6,700

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
