Fresh is a brand of LVMH group worldwide. In SEA, it is managed through LBeauty Pte Ltd, a joint venture between LVMH group and Luxasia.

We are looking for a passionate, driven and disruptive TrainingManager. Partnering closely with the regional SEA Oceania team and the local LBeauty stakeholders, as a people leader, you will be responsible to lead and drive the Fresh Malaysia team in education for all channel of distribution.

Position Opening - Training Manager

Company - fresh, L'Beauty Malaysia

Location - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Reporting to - Education Director, SEA & Oceania

Key Duties & Responsibilities- Fresh Retail

You are a mentor and a fresh role model who embodies the values of the brand and believe in people development and providing excellence of service standards.

Training

  • Translate business objectives into education needs by understanding the business priorities and its implication on the field selling approach. Work with Regional Training Manager, Brand General Manager and Sales team to clearly identify education needs, map them against specific training tools and time frame and develop learning strategies, assets and action plans based to realize a roadmap towards the achievement of business goals and ambitions.
  • Deliver and execute training programs and coaching to all staff on brand story, product and service knowledge, selling skills and exceptional customer service and all areas necessary, to engage Beauty Advisors in line with Brand and training priorities, including implementing effective induction programs for new joiners
  • Ensure that every new employee is correctly on-boarded and has received a comprehensive brand emersion using the designated on-boarding training packages.
  • Plan, design and deliver training programmes (online and offline).
  • Passionately deliver and conduct classroom/virtual trainings including brand induction, product launches, product refreshers with fresh beauty advisors and part-timers.
  • Provide both soft and hard skills training including ritual service training from facial, hand and fragrance.
  • Lead and drive training to develop and enable the team in clienteling and social engagement.

Strategize

  • Devise a training strategy, which reflects the brand strategy, marketing campaigns or initiatives to address training topics/themes accordingly.
  • Plan a purposeful training calendar with a strong people development focus, and goal to deliver the business KPIs in short, medium and long term.
  • Identify learning behaviours of individual fresh beauty advisors and create tools to retain and excite.

Measurables

  • Be sensitive, accountable and monitor fresh sell-out results, market share, retail KPIs, Mystery Shopper result, Individual evaluation of Bas, and retention of the beauty advisors.
  • Bench beauty advisors KPIs: train and coach to meet with targeted service and sales KPIs
  • Consistently analyse and reassess training needs and training effectiveness based on service and sales KPIs.
  • Oversee and regularly execute of FRESH service assessments to retail teams to monitor progression and developments.
  • Establish a solid coaching culture both from training to team and to encourage training within the team from leads. Spend time in retail operations to assess competencies and do On-the-job training for new team members and retraining for existing members.
  • Follow up and analyse Mystery Shoppers Results with sales KPIs per counter and make recommendations on next steps in training and development
  • Define specific actions plans, modules and implement to meet training needs.

Collaborate

  • Be a team player and leader to drive and communicate trust, confidence with sales, marketing and VM teams in all brand initiatives.
  • To be connected with store leads on team performances and goal setting/achievement.
  • Be the face of Fresh on the consumer front. Participate and support all sales/marketing hosting events, both online and offline.
  • Partner with Regional Training Manager with regular reporting, training goals, concept and content creation.

Contribute

  • Promote and implement fresh training policies and procedures.
  • Involve in retail hiring and interviewing processes.
  • Manage education budget and training costs (trips, gifts, uniforms, tools etc).

Key Duties & Responsibilities - Sephora

You are a fresh ambassador who embodies the values of the brand with warmth, positivity and professionalism.

Training

  • Deliver instore, classroom and virtual trainings including brand induction, product launches, product refreshers to cast members.
  • Plan, design and deliver training programmes (online and offline) to value add onto Sephora training landscape.
  • Drive specific Fresh x Sephora training program.

Strategize

  • Continue to drive fresh as Sephora #1 skincare.
  • Devise a training strategy, reflected in marketing campaigns or initiatives to address training topics/themes accordingly.
  • Understand the learning behaviours of cast members to excite and drive brand top of mind.
  • Plan training calendar with purpose and goal to support and drive Sephora cast love and Fresh's market share.
  • In-the-know of fresh sell-out results, ranking, cast movement and competitor brand updates.

Measurables

  • Brand Ranking in Sephora.
  • Sell-out results of total, launches and segments.
  • LMS engagement rating.
  • Sephora feedback survey form.

Collaborate

  • Establish and foster relationships and partnerships with Sephora Education team in all training proposals and recommendations.
  • Strengthen interaction with Sephora retail leads, skincare leads with frequent store visits.
  • Participate and support sales/marketing Sephora events.

Contribute

  • Plan and arrange product gratis, samples and engagement tools to Sephora for distribution.
  • Training fresh part-timers for Sephora launch pad/pop ups.
  • Manage education budget and training costs (gratis, gifts, tools etc).

Report to Senior Regional Training Manager

  1. Monthly training calendar
  2. Monthly coaching report
  3. Budget tracking
  4. Weekly education updates (call)

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate Should Have

  • 5-10 years of experience in retail training, from the sectors of premium retail: fashion, F&B, lifestyle, hotel/hospitality, or cosmetics
  • College/University diploma or above
  • Education or background in skincare preferable
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • High sense and passion for service.
  • Strong passion for education and people development.
  • Be a people leader and team player.
  • Independent, Love collaboration
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • A passionate personable presenter
  • Fluency in spoken and written English language.
  • Good analytical skills, with a good business acumen and ability to identify opportunities and propose action plans.
