Job Responsibilities:- Develop and implement trade marketing strategies to support the companys sales and marketing objectives.
Identify and prioritize key markets and retail partners for trade marketing initiatives.- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that trade marketing activities align with overall sales strategies.
Plan and execute trade marketing campaigns, including promotions, in-store displays, and product launches.
- Manage the production and distribution of promotional materials to retail partners.
Monitor the effectiveness of trade marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners.
Negotiate and secure in-store marketing opportunities, such as end caps and premium shelf space.
- Work with retailers to ensure consistent brand messaging and product placement.
Provide the sales team with the tools and materials needed to effectively sell products in the retail environment.- Develop and deliver training sessions for the sales team and retail staff on new products and promotions.
Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for trade marketing activities.
- Manage the trade marketing budget, ensuring that all activities are cost-effective and deliver a strong return on investment.
Track and report on the financial performance of trade marketing initiatives.- Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior and retail trends.
Analyze competitor activities and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Use insights from research to inform trade marketing strategies and decisions.
Work closely with product managers, brand managers, and the creative team to develop trade marketing materials.- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of promotional materials to retail partners.
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade marketing or a similar role.
Strong understanding of retail marketing and consumer behavior.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners.- Proficiency in data analysis and using insights to drive marketing strategies.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
