Trade Marketing Executive (Alcohol FMCG)

Hong Bee Distributors Sdn. Bhd is the FMCG and Beverages arm of Hong Bee Group, based in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. As Malaysia's importer of a range of Beam Suntory liquor, we also distribute world-renowned whisky labels. Additionally, we are a major distributor in the Northern region for FMCG label Yeo's and Coca-cola, among others.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Trade Marketing Executive. The Trade Marketing Executive will be responsible for market planning, utilizing analytical skills, implementing trade marketing strategies, and effectively communicating with stakeholders. The role will involve working closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive sales and brand awareness.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Working closely with Regional Sales Manager & Region Sales Team in planning and executing promotional activities to meet specific market needs for the wine portfolio in on and off-trade channels
• Provide the feedback of the field situation and initiate improvement proposal to ensure the results meet consumers need
• Continue to strengthen current wine portfolio and develop new agency in line with company direction.
• Works closely, foster good relationship with brand principals, to review and develop strategies to achieve business and brand targets
• Monitor sell-in numbers to ensure that it is in line with agreed targets. Prepare monthly sell-out (depletion) reports support from team - and analyze the gap and work closely with salesperson with plan to achieve the desired results.
• Monitor and manage brand A&P budget and claim and ensure all expenses are accounted during promotion activations
• Plan ad-hoc trade marketing activities and support when required

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Marketing

Possess a minimum 2 year Trade Marketing experience in Wines & Spirits/ FMCG companies

Strong Interpersonal & Analytical skills

Good presentation and communication skills

Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint tools

Able to multi tasks in fast-paced environment
