To work closely with Engineers and fellow Toolmakers in order to improve stamping performance towards achieving lower downtime and higher productivity.
Our Team
Part of Stamping team, you will work along with Maintenance Technician, Quality Control, Production Supervisors and others.
What You Will Do
- Setting up tool for production and unload for Tool Repair & Preventive Maintenance.
- Repair and maintain stamping dies to meet production daily output and Part quality.
- Prepare tool for changeover.
- Suggest improvements on tools to overcome recurring problems.
- Trouble shooting and adjustment of tooling at stamping machine.
- Changing and setting up of production equipment like reeler and de-reeler.
- Assist Supervisor and Spare controller to control tooling spare inventory and spare requisition.
- Operates standard and specialized equipment, i.e. lathe, horizontal or vertical milling machines, surface grinder, band saw, drill press, and measuring tools to produce workpiece.
- Comply and ensure that all applicable operating policies and safety procedures are adhered to
- Ensure the fabricated parts meet the required quality and standards before hand-over to production.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Specialized training in die setting, machine operation, or related fields can be beneficial.
- Previous experience in a similar role or in a manufacturing environment is often preferred.
