Our client is looking to collaborate with talented people for the Test Leader/ Test Manager
role.
- Role Title: Test Leader/ Test Manager
- Type: Permanent with HCL Tech
- Work Location: KL, Malaysia
- Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)
Prepare/ Confirmation of test bed / environments for testing activities.
Assign and track functional & non-functional testing using Manual & Automation Testing.
Identify functional or performance bottleneck in the application.
Design and write testcases / Test Scripts
Write / Review / track bug reports.
Test Planning
Work towards project deadlines.
Troubleshoot and solve problem.
Participation in meetings Internal and Customer
Analysis of customer requests
Maintaining good connect with test Test Engineers/ Leads and / managers/ Customer
Helping with bug reproduction and fix test
Review / Analyzing the results
Collaborating on quality assurance within a team
Mentoring Junior Engineers
Preparation of Testing / management reports
strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders.

Experience of working as a Senior Test engineer / lead or in a similar position
Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies
Knowledge of testing tools like JIRA, Bugzilla
Ability to think critically and analytically and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
Training members
7-10 years of relevant experience in Embedded Testing (preferably SMART TV / DTV)
Good experience in leading Embedded testing (Manual/ Automation) team of 5+ members
Experience in Test planning.
debugging & troubleshooting skill set.
Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment.
Good to have exposure to SDLC.
Good to have exposure to SMART DTV/SMART devices domain.
Experience in using testing tools like JIRA, Bugzilla.
