The Role

This is a unique opportunity to use your Test Analyst skills to design and implement solutions for effective software testing of Ultradata products to meet quality standards and client requirements.

We are specifically looking for someone with a thorough understanding of retail banking, and experience testing web, mobile and back end banking applications.

Your primary duties will be to review functional design specifications to scope out testing requirements, prepare comprehensive test plans and execute test scenarios. You will also have a responsibility for individual case management, regular reporting, and project test estimations.

Significantly, you will be part of a remote team and work collaboratively with team members across Australia and Malaysia.

The successful candidate will bring to their application:

Ideally, a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or, at the least, a Graduate Diploma in these disciplines

A minimum of 3 years experience in software testing in a team-based environment

Must have experience in testing web based and mobile banking applications

Must have prior experience in retail banking and manual testing (systems/functional)

In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies and practices

Good working understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, service-oriented architectures and manual test procedures

Track record of working and delivering to deadlines and budgets

Desire to contribute ideas and take ownership of assigned tasks

Exposure to, or experience with Test Automation Tools

Must have strong written and oral English communication skills.
