The Commercial Executive drives the organisation's conference ticketing sales. He/She identifies potential delegates after targeted research and will focus on both inbound and outbound leads conversion to sales. He/She works closely with internal teams especially the Commercial Manager and HOD to execute the sales process. He/She is persuasive and resourceful and have the ability to ensure closure of sales via telecommunication channel.
Calling existing and potential customers to persuade them to purchase conference tickets.
- Accurately recording details of customers purchase orders.
Processing all customer purchases accordingly.- Generating promising leads to pursue.
Managing customer accounts by ensuring that existing customers remain satisfied with the services rendered.
- Developing and sustaining solid relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
Using sales scripts proffered by the company to drive sales and respond to customer rejections.- Developing in-depth knowledge of our products and services to make suitable recommendations based on customers needs and preferences.
Continually meeting or exceeding daily and monthly targets with respect to call volume and sales.
Proven work experience as a Sales Executive, Commercial Executive, Telesales Specialist or relevant role.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
Experience in Corporate Event related field will be an added advantage.- Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office.
Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
