TECHNICIAN

PREFERRED MALE CANDIDATE

Wrizerfood F&B Sdn Bhd is seeking a Technician to ensures that facilities, layout and machinery used to produce new and existing materials and goods run to their maximum efficiency and output. This includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical and electrical. May include training and assessing of other technicians and apprentices.

• Overall Purpose of the Role:

Install, maintain, improve and repair equipment, plant, services and building installations to set levels effectively in compliance with best practices ensuring production efficiency can be met within a safe well-presented facility. Respond to technical issues affecting production and maintain electrical and mechanical services through Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM). Work mostly independently with minimal supervision and work is reviewed at project milestones and/or on completion by Engineer.

• Key Responsibilities:

Daily maintenance activities on electrical installation system.

• Daily maintenance activities on mechanical installation system.

Trouble shooting, Up-keep and maintain machine and electrical & mechanical appliances, ensuring the operation and maintenance of the installation meeting or exceeding the legal requirement.

• To improve machine utilization and reduce downtime.

To carry out daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, & annual maintenance activities.

• To participate in schedule maintenance shut down works.

To attend/ execute breakdowns & preventive maintenance with efficiency & effectiveness

• To assist supervisor in project & drive installation.

Minimize breakdown and participate in the cost saving program.

• Carries out project works & ad-hoc task as assigned from time to time.

• Qualifications and Experience Levels:

Possess a Wireman Certificate issued by the Energy Commission of Malaysia.

• Minimum Diploma/Cert requirefd

Previous experience as a Wireman or similar role is preferred.

• Good understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and components.

Professional accreditation with an industry related body would be advantageous

• Practical hands-on approach to problem solving

Experience of leading and developing (multi-skilled) people

• Experience of working with facilities management

Mechanical, electrical, electronic or software background with a working knowledge of the other disciplines
