Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Technician to join our team. The Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of all electrical and mechanical equipment in the office, including air conditioners, lighting systems, and plumbing fixtures.

• Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment such as air conditioners, lighting systems, and plumbing fixtures.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with office equipment and systems to ensure efficient operation.

Conduct regular inspections of office facilities to identify and address potential problems before they become major issues.

• Maintain records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and hours worked.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures during all maintenance activities.

• Coordinate with external contractors for more complex repair tasks that cannot be handled in-house.

Provide support for the installation of new equipment and systems as required.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime and disruption to office operations.

Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.

• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures.

• Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Technician or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks.

• Valid drivers license and the ability to travel to different office locations if necessary.

• Working Conditions:

Full-time position with potential for overtime during emergencies or peak periods.

• Work is performed primarily in an office environment but may require travel to other locations as needed.

May be required to lift heavy objects and perform tasks that involve bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
