Technician

Demonstrate detailed knowledge and ability with all Air-conditioning equipment (HVAC), Kitchen equipment, Guestroom preventive maintenance, Carpentry works, and Electrical installation work techniques, troubleshooting, and repairs.

• Carry out routine checks/inspections as per schedule, installation, and alteration throughout the entire Business Units.

Carry out work issued by Superior from start through completion with minimum assistance. Maintain a high standard of performance and pride in workmanship.

• Identify and report service requirements as early as possible to maintain quality standards throughout the complex.

Work on to repair schedule and engineering goals set by the Facilities Manager.

• Evaluate and discuss any unsolved problems with Superior to ensure that proper actions are taken.

Assist his Superior to maintain the goals of the department to ensure the highest standard of production and efficiency possible.

• Complete all work/repairs in a safe, efficient and professional manner within the time frame as requested by superior and daily Internal Work Order (IWO). Report back to superior if work couldnt be completed within the allocated time frame.

Follow up to ensure preventative maintenance schedules are completed on all equipment in the allotted time.

• Be available to assist as required in special projects or functions as requested by Superior.

Ensure all the tools and equipment are in good operational condition at all times and are properly stored and accounted for.

• To familiarize with all fire-fighting equipment and locations of all fire-fighting equipment and protections.

To escort vendors/suppliers for a site visit or repair works at all Business Units and reports back to Superior on the work status and completion.

• To service, repair, install & troubleshoot all air-conditioning, chillers, freezers in all Business Units, Guestrooms, and Properties on a daily basis.

To follow up task/works during every shift handover and report to Facilities Manager on the works completed and pending.

• To attend guest complain/work order and rectify within the escalation time.

To ensure appearance/grooming according to Company standards at all times.

• To attend on-job training and ensure sufficient training hours annually.

Complete all other reasonable tasks assigned by Superior.
