To monitor and carry out all planned and unplanned maintenance activities on relevant rotating equipment packages e.g. centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, screw compressors, turbines, process refrigeration systems and various pumps as assigned to support SMR Rotating supervisors and Managers to enable for a smooth operation of given production plants or facilities. All maintenance activities and services shall comply with Company requirements and local authority standards, regulations & safety requirements. The scope also includes static equipment and E&I equipment/ devices in rotating equipment packages.
To assist supervisors in monitoring contractor's work execution on relevant rotating equipment to ensure high work quality and in full compliance with Company's maintenance requirements and HSE policy.
To carry out troubleshooting on all relevant rotating equipment or assist Supervisors or Managers in troubleshooting tasks, accordingly where relevant, advise on the next course of actions.
To follow maintenance work process to perform job as per SAP priority notifications.
To assist in JFS (Job Fact Sheet) & LABIN1 implementation, assist in JSA preparation and act as permit receiving party for all relevant rotating equipment jobs as required.
To perform physical condition check and verify correctness on all necessary spare parts for both planned and unplanned maintenance jobs.
To perform regular walkabout around relevant rotating equipment to monitor all critical parameters, i.e. the oil level, pressures, temperatures, vibrations, capacity, etc.
To document repair reports, service records and maintenance reports after job completion.
To perform and ensure housekeeping at and around relevant rotating equipment is well maintained.
To assist in performing preservations on all relevant rotating equipment in Warehouse or in-transit.
To ensure tools, special tools, lifting tools and toolboxes are in good conditions and in order, and advise superior for required inspections or replacements.
To support improvement on rotating equipment reliability that may reduce downtime, avoid repeated failures and lower maintenance cost.
To attend safety, toolbox and relevant meetings as required as well as other relevant programs organized by Company.
Job Requirement
Diploma/Cert in Mechanical Engineering
Hands-on experience with various rotating equipment maintenance execution, repair and overhaul
Able to coordinate with various support services such as cranes, scaffolding, insulation and contractor teams during job execution
Skillful with various alignment techniques using laser or dial gauge and understand on alignment requirements & influenced factors
Experience with rotating equipment troubleshooting and able to understand P&ID and mechanical drawings
Familiar with Chiller package maintenance especially of Ammonia refrigerant
Good understanding of rotating equipment packages e.g. turbomachinery, reciprocating compressor, screw compressor, process refrigeration system / chiller package and process pumps
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Willing and able to work with other colleagues as a team to achieve team targets and flexible with demanding workhours
