Keep all equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing day-to-day maintenance of the hotel
To complete maintenance work orders (HOTSOS) on a timely basis by following hotels standard operating procedures
Continually work towards and support the improvement of engineering service to guests, other departments and fellow colleagues
To act in the capacity of Engineering Department as a trouble shooter direct or indirect to the guest, thereby continually working toward a betterment of guest contact and satisfaction
You follow the Hotel policies and procedures with regards to guest contact, guest satisfaction, proper grooming and appearance
You have to know or acquire the practical and theoretical skills and knowledge related to your field of work and its implementation
You have to know all materials, tools, parts and equipment related to your operation
You know all the working procedures to solve problems in emergency and unscheduled maintenance
You maintain the cleanliness of the entire property to the highest levels of excellence.
Job Requirement
Willing to work in a multi-skilled environment with minimum supervision.
Previous experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
Knowledge of pumps, HVAC system, electrical installations, water treatment plant is an advantage.
Commitment to the standards in Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental protection.
Ability to communicate fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
