Position Overview:
As an Automation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automation systems. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure the smooth operation of our automation solutions. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work with advanced technologies in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and test automation equipment and systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on automation systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair automation equipment, including PLCs, sensors, actuators, and control panels.
- Assist in the design and implementation of new automation projects.
- Document and report on system performance, maintenance activities, and issues.
- Provide technical support to clients and assist with training as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve system efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or a related field.
- Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automation systems.
- Strong understanding of PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and control systems.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to client sites for installation and support activities.
