Job DescriptionThe Facilities Technician is in charge of performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment. Their duties include general landscaping, fixing machinery, plumbing, heating, and wiring, inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards, and identifying, planning, and scheduling major repairs.
Perform activities like repairing office furniture, replacing light fixtures and maintaining air conditioning and heating systems.
Responsible for ensuring facility electrical system in good condition.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on facility electrical equipment.
Investigating and troubleshoot electrical system or equipment failures and recommend actions to enhance reliability.
Review and follow instructions covering the scheduled and emergency repair, installation, and inspection of work to be done.
Dismantle, clean, repair, replace, etc. electrical equipment taking all safety precautions.
Certificate/Diploma/Degree in any Engineering-related field.
Ability to work independently and responsibly.
Basic knowledge of general maintenance practices including troubleshooting and repairs.
