Duties And Responsibilities
- To perform scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machines.
- To repair malfunctions in machines and auxiliary equipment.
- To routinely check on machinery for signs of fault in order to prevent or minimize downtime and interruptions.
- To initiate improvement on the functionality of machines and equipment to increase its efficiency.
- For a more senior position, might act as team leader to ensure that the works meet agreed targets by directly overseeing work team members.
- To document activities accordingly.
- The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
Professional competencies
- Diploma holder with a minimum 1 year of working experience in a related field.
- Required to apply basic and some advanced skills in procedure/ techniques/ tools/materials and/or equipment appropriate to area of specialization.
- Works under direct supervision and selects from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
- A limited degree of judgment required in resolving non-standard problems.
