Key Responsibilities:
Develop Training Materials
- Master the knowledge of key equipment and processes, including stripping, layering, robotics, auto packing, and more.
- Create comprehensive training modules using formats such as KOJT teaching slides, Standard Work Practices (SWP), OPL, assessments, and evaluations.
- Update and localize training materials as needed in collaboration with PEM facilitators.
Facilitate Training Programs
- Collaborate with Production and PEM HODs and Site L&D teams to execute training programs as per the Training Matrix.
- Train and evaluate new hires on production processes and equipment services.
- Continuously update the Training Matrix to align with current roles and responsibilities.
Measure Training Effectiveness
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and audits to gauge training success.
- Work with stakeholders to address and resolve any gaps or adverse findings in training programs.
- Monitor and review action plans to ensure sustainable improvements.
Manage Training Records and Documentation
- Maintain accurate training records and evaluation documents.
- Collaborate with L&D teams to administer training records in the TDMS system and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Prepare quarterly skill-training reports for the GM and site leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a process or manufacturing-related industry, with familiarity in manufacturing/engineering work environments.
- Strong interest in building a career in Learning and Development.
- Proficient in both spoken and written Malay and English.
- Tech-savvy, with expertise in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, along with basic skills in image and video editing.
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of data/statistics.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strategic planning and execution capabilities.
- Prior training experience or the ability to train is a strong advantage.
