Technical Partner Account Manager
Reports to: Area Partner Director, ASEAN & Taiwan
The Partner Account Manager (PAM) is responsible for leading the technical development of our channel eco-system, including distributors, managed and long-tail partners, across the ASEAN and Taiwan region to win revenue opportunities.
This role will involve creating, implementing and supporting effective channel competency plans to build mutual business success through value selling of Junipers AI-driven solutions.
Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
The candidate should have at least 8 years of channels and technical experience, particularly selling to Enterprise and Commercial customers
Must be competent in most Enterprise technologies such as routing, wired, wireless, data center and security technologies
Track record of selling Juniper technologies
Possess Juniper certification would be advantageous
Supported distributors and their resellers to positioning Juniper
In-depth involvement in designing customers networking requirements
Familiar with most aspects of the customer operations including network issues
Job Requirements
The candidate is expected to:
Be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Responsible for understanding and implementing channel sales strategies
Be the primary technical pre-sales interface to support distributor and their resellers in the selling process
Provide technical leadership and hands-on expertise for customer demonstrations or trials
Create networking opportunities likely to be of considerable strategic or long-term value
Assist in setting partner sales strategy with the account teams
Strengthens existing and build new partner relationships to become a trusted advisor
Foster teaming between Junipers and the partners sales teams to drive increased sales coverage, funnel development and revenue
Ensure high levels of partner satisfaction measured by the annual survey
Execute quarterly Juniper-wide initiatives as appropriate
Work with the partner marketing team to implement and track success of marketing plans
Skill Set Required
University qualification preferred
8+ years of sales experience preferably operating in a channel sales environment in the ICT industry
Has a presence; attention to details; communicates effectively
Proven contributor; can motivate and influence others; raise the bar
Team player; can work cross functionally
Not afraid to get into the details; get hands dirty
Operates with the utmost integrity
Can work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
