Job description
Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Implement security measures to protect the network from cyber threats.
Plan and execute IT infrastructure projects, including hardware and software upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to assess IT requirements and propose solutions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
Document support procedures and solutions for knowledge sharing.
Train users on IT systems and applications as needed.
- Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as an IT technical engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and software.
Proficiency in server administration (Windows/Linux), virtualization, and cloud computing.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) are a plus.
