Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 9 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry and a proven track record in project management and implementation. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
Roles and Responsibilities
Project Delivery Management
Plan Technical Deliverables: Ensure system enhancements and upgrades meet project requirements within allocated budget and schedule.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work with different application teams to manage technical dependencies.
Risk and Issue Management: Monitor and manage risks/issues related to infrastructure setup and technical delivery.
Status Updates: Provide regular updates on technical delivery to the Project Manager/Technical Delivery Manager. Requirements Management
Engage with Analysts and SMEs: Gather and finalize functional and technical requirements.
Scope and Budget Management: Ensure infrastructure/technical requirements are within scope and budget.
Design & Development
Solution Design Compliance: Work with Domain Architects and Development Managers to ensure solutions comply with enterprise design principles, security, and control standards.
Manage Application Teams: Oversee application teams to build enhancements.
Test Management
Facilitate Test Environment: Ensure the availability of the test environment for SIT, UAT, regression/performance/load testing, and application security testing.
Implementation Management
Prepare Implementation Plans: Develop technical implementation plans across application teams.
Coordinate Implementation Activities: Work with the release team and application teams to ensure smooth production cutover and post-implementation support.
Leadership and Coordination
Lead Technology Applications & Platforms: Provide leadership for technology applications and platforms owned by the Risk Team.
Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with business/technical stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of assigned activities.
Compliance: Ensure work deliverables comply with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Technical Skills Infrastructure and Connectivity:
Strong hands-on experience with infra/connectivity/network/OS/Storage/DB.
Operating Systems and Middleware: In-depth experience with Unix, Linux, Windows, and Middleware (Weblogic, MQ, IIS, WebSphere, Tomcat, Connect Direct, SFTP, Control-M).
Server Hardware: Strong knowledge of server hardware in VM and physical server environments.
Application Infrastructure Service Delivery: Experience in managing application infrastructure service delivery.
Project Management: Proven knowledge of project management and implementation.
Risk Domain Expertise: Functional knowledge and hands-on experience in the Risk domain, covering Enterprise, Operational, and Fraud detection.
