Responsibilities
- Performing routine maintenance: Conducting regular inspections to ensure aircraft are in proper working order, checking various systems like engines, hydraulics, and avionics.
- Troubleshooting and repairing issues: Identifying mechanical and technical problems, and repairing or replacing faulty components.
- Ensuring compliance: Making sure all work is in accordance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Documenting maintenance: Keeping detailed records of all work performed, including parts used and procedures followed.
- Collaborating with engineers: Working alongside aerospace engineers to modify and improve aircraft systems as needed.
- Testing aircraft systems: Running diagnostic tests to ensure everything is functioning correctly post-maintenance or repair.
- Adhering to schedules: Completing tasks within set timeframes to minimize downtime of the aircraft.
- Maintaining tools and equipment: Ensuring all maintenance tools and equipment are in good condition.
Requirements
- Minimum diploma/degree in aviation or equivalent in related field.
- Ability to work in demanding multi discipline projects
